RTG Investigator Licensing
RTG Investigator sequence analysis software is available under two different licenses - individual and organization. Upon approval, biological investigators may download RTG Investigator free for personal use. Organizations that want additional service and support, product functionality, and fewer usage restrictions may license RTG Server for organization-wide use. 1 - Persons approved for an individual license may download the currently available RTG Investigator software version and store in their personal file space. They may run the software on any computer or compute cluster operating on up to five simultaneous nodes. Individual licensees and their collaborators may share work flow (i.e. analysis pipeline) descriptions, run work flows independently on their own systems, share results between them, and publish scientific articles, papers and posters based on the shared results.
2 - Academic, institutional, governmental or commercial organizations may establish a fee-based license for RTG Server to implement, promote, support and collect payment for production pipeline services based on RTG software. Pricing scales with product usage at competitive market rates.
